Closer to God,
I want to be.
Just me in his Spirit
swaying gracefully.
Tears of joy will flow,
and freely fall.
Glory to our God,
the Maker of all.
Control me, Lord,
You have it all.
My whole heart is yours
at your beckon call.

all the Saints will see.

Abiding in his Spirit,

God cries.
He holds back his pain.
Sometimes I'm sure he bursts out tears like an autumn rain.
He sees his creation going insane.

God cries for every soul that won't repent.

God sat on my front porch swing, and gazed up in the sky,
the stars of HIS creation, but likewise so was I.
I sat against the porch rail, humble circumspect;
that He who breathed the cosmos, would my life direct.
Creation, all its grandeur, and I a humble man,
